Review by Wasting Too Much Time on Amazon… Again! for Kaleidoscope Three in One Complete Bed Ensemble

It felt a little risky to buy a bedding set online that I had never seen in a store – you never know if it will look like the picture! But I really liked the look of the set and decided to take the plunge after reviewing the seller’s return policy. I purchased the blue set in queen.
PROS:
1. Everything except the sheets and pillowcases are reversable, so the combinations are endless!
2. The product is as described. In my room, it looks like it did in the picture.
3. The sheets are soft; feels nice to the touch.
4. The comforter is a large sized queen, allowing it to drape the bed nicely as opposed to other comforters I’ve owned that just look too short on the bed. It is also thick and fluffy, which I like in my comforters.
5. I was skeptical of the tuck-under bedskirt as I have never owned one before. But it has been on my bed for 2 weeks and I haven’t felt the need to adjust it yet. And upon further reflection, adjustments to this will be much simpler than the traditional bedskirt where the whole mattress would need to be lifted.
6. The price!!! Sometimes the “sale” price on Amazon is similar to regular prices you find elsewhere online. But I really did see this exact same set on other websites for $199.
7. My experience with this seller exceeded my expectations.
CONS:
1. The comforter will not fit into my large capacity washing machine.
2. Inclusion of an extra set of sheets would be nice.
My ideal rating would be 4.5 stars, but I went with 5. I feel like the cons are easily outweighed by the pros and do not justify a full star reduction. I can make alternate arrangements to wash the comforter, and baby blue sheets shouldn’t be too difficult to find. And with the stripes and wide array of colors, I imagine that I can easily find a different color of sheets that would also match and make even more combinations out of the set!

I spent a lot of time researching comforters online. The last set I purchased was awful and the comforter was no warmer than a sheet. After about 2 weeks of searching, I settled on the blue/green set of this product. Although I was a little wary of buying online without being able to check out the comforter, I went ahead and did it. Once I received the set, I was excited to put it on my bed and see what it was like. I was extremely impressed. The sheets are soft and oversized, so they don’t come off of the mattress. The comforter is extremely warm and very large. I also love the fact that it is on my bed in the morning the same way it was when I went to sleep…my husband and I don’t pull it off of each other. This is a wonderful set with many different options for looks; for sheets, anything from a light or dark blue to a mint green or even beige would work. A great buy.
